retail or not you are asking way to much, a friend just bought a 09 nomad for 1000 less than your asking price with a pricier build, the bike was also from a bike mechanic that worked at a bike shop, just stating the obvious

Dorado fork needs a tune up, and there are 2 very minor dents in the frame by the seat. Kid was trying to be helpful and banged it with a wrench. Didn't even scratch the paint
